About Lese-ego Jason Neutron

Fromkasi.com had a chance with Lesego Madumo ba mo tsebang bare ke "Les-ego Jason Neutron or former Taxi Sub-Editor, Now Big Media junior reporter and Supersonic Breakfast Show host on TUT Top Stereo 93.6 FM.

Interview By: Edgar “DS” Rathelele

Les-ego Jason Neutron is a whiz kid, period. Luckily for him, his mom works for a community station in which he had stints from the tender age of 12. He is now pursuing a career in Journalism, and works for an internet publishing company.

Before being recruited to join the Mad bunch on Top, Les-ego also worked as a producer on a current affairs programme at TUT FM, before being its sports presenter. In just a short period following his arrival at Top, Les-ego was already a force to be reckoned with, setting trends along every path, and ultimately contributing enormously to the station’s growth.

This man has prowess to sing, do voice art, model and write, to list just a few. He is also the first and only person to host all shows at Top stereo, all in just One Day. Les-ego is now the main face of the new Joburg 2010 website. I guess the appropriate thing to say in terms of ambition, would be that Les-ego aspires to overtake every force in power.

How is your life as a reporter and a media person?

For most people life in the media industry is lavish, extravagant and luxurious; for me it is not all that. My life I can say is very boring, because I hardly get ample time to spend with my family. I am always on the road, reading or partying, all part of the job. Meeting new people everyday and getting all the freebies, however, is like the highlight of my career…Lol. I think my life is composed of knowledge, if you don’t have it you won’t be able to survive. I am not passionate about what I do; I do it because it is a calling. I can proudly boost and say that I am one of the few people who have been called by God to render a very important service to the general public; and that is to be me. To say that I am gifted is an understatement, just say that I was born to be excellent in everything I do and touch.

Are you reading any book?

How to Analyse the Bible by J.P Van Dyk. I use it as a tool to fully comprehend what the God has communicated in his Holy Book.

Lifestyle and everything else?

As I have said, my life is like a routine. I wake up at 3am every morning for six days of the week, trying to make a living for my family. I am on a campus radio station every Saturday, doing the SuperSonic Breakfast Show, which has been a blessing in my life. I like going out to movies, shopping, writing, listening to movies, making technological discoveries, reading a lot, and most of all I love travelling.

If you were not a journalist what would you be?

I wouldn't know because I have always been into writing, reading and travelling, maybe a tourist. But my passion will shift in future; I hope to become a technology innovator.

Someone special in your life?

Of course man. How can you be me and not have a fine ass woman like Naledi Meso in your life, who always brings about euphoria and tranquillity. She is everything I could have asked for and more.

Still on that note, Oreng ka banyana ba ba ngata bao ba naganang gore o charma, especially your radio voice?

Eeeeh, Lol. I must really say that I am flattered; however, I am fully complacent with what I have.

Between le bojwa, morepa, lepantsula o wela kae?

Les-ego Jason Neutron, well that is were the revolution and trend setting phenomenon emanates, period!

Choice of sound?

My favourite music is Gospel and Kabelo, after those everything else that is playing on Naledi’s ipod is fine to serenade the mind.

About your stay at Pretoria Technikon – TUT ne go le bjang?

I don’t know, aah, TUT was the best. My stay culminate in many positive things, opportunities, and many great things.

Worst thing, best thing that ever happened to you?

The worst thing that ever happened to me was to loose my father four months prior my birth. Yeah I know, you feel sorry, big deal man, go jump. Best thing ever, was to be born Les-ego Jason Neutron and have the company that I have in my life at the moment. I think having Lydia Madumo as a mother, Letlotlo Madumo as my niece, Lentheng Madumo as a sister and Naledi Meso as my gal, is the best thing ever.

So kara?

Because of green gas emissions, carbon monoxide and all other things that contribute to global warming, I have chosen to keep it natural, I walk man.

Plans for future?

Well I want to have it all, money, a good marriage, a huge house, be on TV and obviously continue my Radio journey.

Tell us about the supersonic Breakfast Show?

What about it? Lol...it is a great show, just tune in every Saturday from 6am until 10am on TUT Top Stereo 93.6 FM and you will tell me about it. We have a great team in Karabo the Triangle, Mr. TeQuila, Jenny and Edgar the Dynamic Soul, who concertedly render a supersonic service to massive PTA. It's 100 percent entertainment and more.

Your message to mass and youth across FromKasi:

I think the message is actually redundant. Just follow your dreams man, and always aim to be at your best, no matter what that is. And hey, don’ forget to include the lord in everything that you do, without him your plans will be in vain.

Edgar DS:

Thanx man for valuable time and we wish the best in your life.

Les-ego:

Thank you for making it public that I am dating a very gorgeous woman on earth.
